WHEN TO USE
Westland Lawn Topdressing can be used any time of year, although autumn and spring are preferable. We recommend one application per year to maintain the health and vigour of grass. Where lawns have become compacted it is a good idea to aerate the lawn with a garden fork or hollow tiner and then apply the lawn dressing. This is most easily done in autumn when the soil is moist.
HOW TO USE
Scatter one litre of the dressing (use a one litre plant pot to measure) over each square metre of lawn, or use the whole bag over 25m2 – using the back of a rake and brush in with a stiff broom. Seed may also be laid at this point to increase thickness of lawn.
FOR AERATION
Scatter two litres of dressing over each square metre and brush over with a stiff broom, working the dressing into the aeration holes.
FOR LEVELLING
Slight dips and hollows can be filled with lawn dressing but do not smother the grass. For larger hollows it is best to fill in from underneath by cutting into the turf and rolling it back first.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The grass will grow through the dressing and lawn quality will be improved for the longer term.
ADVICE
Children, pets and grazing animals can use the treated areas.
RESEEDING
Bare patches can be done immediately after applying the product.

We recommend wearing gloves when using this product. Wash hands and exposed skin after use. Store in a cool, dry place.
