• When to lay turf. Turf can be laid all year round, however turf should never be laid onto frozen ground and laying turf in extended periods of hot and dry weather will require additional care and attention.Turf must be rolled out immediately in spring/summer and within 24 hours in the autumn/winter, therefore you should ensure the site is fully prepared before arranging for the turf to be delivered.The ideal times to seed a lawn or overseed an existing lawn are spring and autumn, with germination taking 7 to 21 days depending on growing conditions.
• Roll Dimensions
  • Each roll covers approximately 1m². Typical roll dimensions when harvested are 610mm wide x 1640mm long and is cut to a depth of approximately 12.5mm.

  You are also able to purchase on a collection basis from our sales yard in Coventry but it is always worth a call beforehand to avoid disappointment as this is on a first come first serve basis.
